Application Areas:

Armosil CP is an oleamide refined from animal oil with low color (170 Pt-Co) and low moisture content (120 mg/kg). Oleamide offers excellent slip and good anti-blocking properties. It is commonly used as a slip agent for PE films.

Adding oleamide and thoroughly pre-mixing can effectively reduce friction and adhesion between the polymer and equipment, as well as between polymers themselves, significantly enhancing processing speed and product quality.

Since oleamide continues to migrate after the product is formed, creating a thin film on the surface, it imparts good slip characteristics and anti-blocking properties to the product, without significantly altering the mechanical properties or visual appearance of the final product. Oleamide is a preferred slip agent due to its low cost and rapid migration.

Armosil CP has a wide range of applications in thermoplastic polymers, with an addition amount of 0.05% to 0.3% depending on requirements.

Adding oleamide to inks can improve their slip and anti-blocking properties.

Oleamide also provides better penetration and slip when waxes and resins are applied to paper or cardboard.

Oleamide can also be used in adhesives, coatings, and EVA polymers; and it serves as a defoamer in paper production, a dispersant for pigments, and a surface lubricant for metal materials.

Armosil CP has uniform particle size, good fluidity, and is easy to process and mix.

Armosil CP stands out among other oleamides due to its higher purity, lower color, and lower water solubility.
